Alexandria, LA (11/20/2023) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD) reported one person was injured in a shooting on Lee Street.
According to an APD press release on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at approximately 8:30 PM, APD responded to Lee and Industrial Streets about a shooting. A victim was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
Multiple residents and folks traveling through the area described the incident as a frightening war zone.
