Lafourche, La. (10/17/2022) – A Lafourche Parish man is accused of raping a child under the age of 13.
Ricky Porrovecchio Jr., 41, of Cut Off, was arrested and charged with first-degree rape and Indecent behavior with a juvenile. Porrovecchio bond is $500,000.
On Wednesday, October 12, 2022, juvenile detectives opened an investigation into Porrovecchio after he reportedly had inappropriate sexual contact with a child under the age of 13. After collecting evidence and statements, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives obtained warrants for his arrest.
On Thursday, October 13, 2022, detectives made contact with Porrovecchio & took him into custody.
