Lafayette, LA (9/23/2022) – According to the Lafayette Police Department, two people were shot, injured, and transported to local hospitals tonight. Police are looking for the suspects involved in the shooting on Stemberg Street.
Sources on the scene stated that at 9:45 pm, they heard what sounded like loud firecrackers; however, when they looked outside, they say they saw two people in a white vehicle. They say the passenger suspect was hanging outside of the vehicle’s sunroof, spraying bullets.
