Alexandria, LA (6/12/2023) – Louisiana State Police (LSP) Troop E confirmed a one-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The crash occurred on I-49 South, just south of Alexandria (milepost 76). One fatality was confirmed.
The crash is currently under investigation. No further information is known at this time.
When driving on an interstate highway or other highway with two or more lanes traveling in the same direction, yield the right-of-way by making a lane change. If a lane change is not possible, the driver shall slow to a reasonably safe speed.
