Houston, TX (6/11/2023) – The Houston Police Department reported that six people were shot outside a southwest Houston nightclub near the Galleria Area.
According to Houston’s Police Chief Troy Finner, HPD officers found six people who were shot following a argument inside the lounge that spilled into the parking lot. Chief Finner said one of the six victims is in critical condition and out of surgery. The other five are expected to survive.
The shooting happened around 2:11 am Sunday, June 11, 2023, in Tabú Restaurant & Lounge’s parking lot near Richmond Avenue and Fountain View Drive.
Finner said, “It makes no sense to fire up into a crowded parking lot.” Finner went on to say, “Make no mistake about it, we’re going to find out who did it. We’re going to hold them accountable.” At the press briefing, Chief Finner urged the public to leave clubs before they close.
