Shreveport, LA (4/10/2023) – The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office reported the Shreveport man found dead of a gunshot wound in his Queensborough home Sunday, April 9, 2023, has been named.
John Anthony Crosby, 57, was found by concerned relatives just after 12:30 p.m. inside his residence in the 3300 block of Catherine Street.
Mr. Crosby was positively identified through fingerprint comparison.
The Shreveport Police Department is investigating the shooting.
An autopsy was ordered.
Mr. Crosby’s death marks the 22nd homicide in Shreveport and Caddo Parish in 2023.
