Alexandria, LA (4/5/2023) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD) reported a is on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
At approximately 1:29 PM, the APD was dispatched to the 1500 block of Elliot Street about a report of someone being shot.
Upon Officers’ arrival, they discovered a 29-year-old male from Alexandria, LA, that had been shot, lying near the rear entrance of a residence. The victim was taken to a local hospital by ambulance and was treated for his non-life-threatening wounds.
Alexandria Detectives stated the suspect is unknown at this time.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
