Vernon Parish, LA (3/31/20230 – The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office (VPSO) announced on March 31, 2023, the arrests of Randall Chance Green, 24, and Christian Alford, 21, of Rosepine.
The arrests result from an investigation into a residential burglary on March 28, 2023, in the Cottonwood Community.
VPSO Detectives also recovered an ATV determined to have been stolen on the same day from a residence on Bass Road in Rosepine. Green and Alford were charged with one count of Criminal Conspiracy, two counts of Criminal Trespassing, seven counts of Theft of a Firearm, one count of Aggravated Burglary, and one count of Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Each man’s bond was set to $177,562.00; both men remain in the VPSO jail.
The stolen property was recovered and will be returned to the owners.
Sheriff Craft would like to thank the public for the many telephone calls VPSO received identifying the two suspects in the surveillance photographs.
