Patchy fog should burn off by midmorning but could linger near the coast through at least midday.
Otherwise, skies should become partly sunny, with warm and muggy conditions again expected as highs climb into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.
Tonight, mild and muggy conditions will continue, with patchy fog expected to develop near the coast during the evening. Winds will become strong and gusty overnight, limiting fog development over inland areas. Southerly winds are expected to strengthen to between 15 and 25 MPH, with gusts as high as 35 MPH. A few showers are expected to develop across southeast Texas near the Lakes Region late tonight.
Monday, a front will move into the area during the day, accompanied by a few showers. Temperatures will be warm during the day, with highs climbing to near 80 degrees, but drier air will begin moving into the region during the afternoon, making conditions feel less muggy.
