Deer Park, TX (1/25/2023) – The City of Deer Park experienced a tornado at approximately 2:49 p.m. on January 24, 2023. Deer Park is located east Houston.
Officials assessed damages and are currently reporting minor injuries.
City officials are in contact with Harris County Emergency Management and Texas Division of Emergency Management as well as been in touch with Red Cross.
Emergency staff is working to coordinate with CenterPoint Energy with no estimate time of repair.
Public Works is also are out removing debris from roadway. Public officials asked residents to stay off the road as much as possible as there are power lines and debris on streets.
