South winds will continue to bring in unseasonably warm and moist air into the region.
As winds begin to decrease this evening, along with temperatures cooling, fog will form this evening, expanding overnight.
The widespread visibility will become less than 1/4 of a mile and sometimes near zero. Therefore, a dense fog advisory will be in effect from 9 pm CST Wednesday to 10 am CST Thursday.
This will include all of southeast Texas, central, south-central, and southwest Louisiana, as well as the near-shore coastal waters, lakes, and bays. Use extreme caution when traveling area roadways and waterways.
