Rapides Parish, La. (11/30/2022) – A Boyce man was sentenced to life without the benefit of parole by Judge Mary Doggett.
David Anthony Burns, 47, of Boyce, Louisiana, was convicted on October 31, 2022, of second-degree murder for the death of Courtney Coco, 19, in October 2004. Burns was accused of murdering and dumping Courtney’s body in Winnie, Texas.
Burns was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of probation, parole, or a suspension of sentence on Monday, November 28, 2022.
The prosecutors, in this case, are Attorneys Hugo Holland and Johnny Giordano. Attorneys Christopher LaCour and Willie Stephens represented Burns.
