Many communities across Central Louisiana lack access to food services like local pantries or meal programs. This is especially true in remote and rural areas, where few grocery stores, farmers’ markets, and retailers sell affordable fresh foods.
The Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry Program can send a complete pop-up food pantry to any area with a need. These food distributions are scheduled monthly, so neighbors know when and where food will be available regularly. New locations are added regularly. Check the schedule below for current food distributions.
