Louisiana Rural Water Association Fall Mini-Conference in Alexandria

The Louisiana Rural Water Association (LRWA) is holding its’ annual Fall Mini-Conference in Alexandria this week at the Randolph Riverfront Center.

The Fall Mini-Conference offers training opportunities for all aspects of the water and wastewater industry, from operation to management to regulation. More than 275 attendees, exhibitors, and presenters from across the state are attending the meeting starting today and concluding on Thursday.

Presenters include representatives from the Office of the Louisiana Attorney General, Louisiana Department of Health, Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, and USDA.  In addition, over 200 students will be coming to Alexandria to take their state exams. LRWA offers specialized education and networking opportunities specifically designed for utility managers, town council members, and utility board members.

The media is invited to attend the Exhibition “Meet and Greet” scheduled at 4 pm on Tuesday, October 18 at the Randolph Riverfront Center.
