EUNICE, La. (9/29/2022) – According to the Eunice Police Department (EPD), a man was arrested for allegedly supplying fentanyl to a teen, which led to the teen’s death.
Isaiah Brett Carrier, 19, of Eunice, Louisiana, allegedly supplied the narcotics. Carrier was arrested and charged with second-degree murder by EPD, assisted by Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
According to Eunice Police Department, the 17-year-old victim was found by his family unresponsive on the morning of September 12, 2022. The teen was taken to a local medical facility in Eunice and then transferred to a Baton Rouge hospital, where he died.
Preliminary toxicology reports indicate the presence of fentanyl.
