Baton Rouge, LA. (9/16/2022) – According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, officers responded to a call in the 1500 Block of Government Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased victim in a vehicle. The vehicle was located in the middle of the road. Officers observed the victim had been shot multiple times. The car also had numerous bullet holes.
Allison Rice, 21, from Geismar, Louisiana, a Senior LSU student majoring in marketing, was identified as the victim
Officials say it appears she was shot while driving, or possibly she may have been shot while waiting on a train to move.
LSU issued the following statement:
The LSU community is saddened to hear of senior Allison Rice being killed overnight. Her family and friends are in our thoughts, and we encourage anyone who may have more information about this crime to contact Baton Rouge Police.
