Alexandria, LA – (July 28, 2024) -On Sunday, July 28, 2024, at approximately 3:35 PM, the Alexandria Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the 2200 Block of West Sycamore Street. Preliminary findings suggest that the shooting was domestic-related.
Upon arrival, detectives and crime scene investigators conducted a thorough investigation. Two individuals were confirmed deceased at the scene on West Sycamore Street. Another individual was transported to a local hospital, and their condition remains unknown at this time.
Chief Chad Gremillion has assured the public that there is no threat to public safety. He emphasized that this is a developing story, and no further information is available at this time.
