Baton Rouge, LA (1/26/2024) – Baton Rouge Police (BRPD) Homicide Detectives are currently investigating the shooting death of 21-year-old CESAR AYALA-ORTIZ.
Ayala-Ortiz was discovered deceased from a gunshot wound in the 12000 block of Florida Blvd yesterday afternoon at approximately 5:50 pm.
According to detectives, Ayala-Ortiz is believed to have been shot following a verbal and physical altercation. The suspect involved in the incident fled the scene on foot before the arrival of law enforcement.
