Vidalia, LA (9/11/2023) – The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) reported a man arrested for suspected indecent behavior with juveniles was re-booked on charges of sexual abuse of animals.
On September 1, 2023, a man was charged with indecent behavior with juveniles after being arrested on felony domestic abuse battery.
As the investigation progressed, electronic devices were seized from the suspect’s residence, and forensic analysis was conducted. As a result, numerous images were recovered consisting of humans engaged in sexual activity with animals.
Brent Lee Book, 41, of Monterey, Louisiana, was rebooked for three counts of sexual abuse of an animal. This investigation is ongoing.

MONTEREY MAN CHARGED WITH INDECENT BEHAVIOR WITH JUVENILES

Vidalia – On August 27, 2023, the CPSO began an investigation into allegations of child abuse, which led to a subject being charged initially with cruelty to juveniles. As the investigation continued, it was learned that the subject had also forced a juvenile to watch pornographic videos with him and engaged in indecent sexual behavior and conversations on numerous occasions. Due to the sensitive nature of the case, no additional information can be released; however, the victim is safe and has been receiving proper care.
